Shawn Michaels is one of the best sports entertainers in the world. When he first debuted in WWE he was in
a tag-team along with Marty Jannetty called The Rockers. The Rockers tag-team broke up in 1992. In 1994 Shawn Michaels competed
at Wrestlemania X in the first ever Ladder Match on WWE PPV against Razor Ramon(Scott Hall). In 1995 Shawn Michaels entered
the Royal Rumble at #1 but still won the match. Shawn Michaels also won the 1996 Royal Rumble and went on to fight Bret
Hart for the WWE Championship in a 60 Minute Time Limit Iron Man Match at Wrestlemania XII. That was the greatest Wrestlemania
Match of all time. In February 1997 Shawn Michaels forfeited his WWE Title due to a knee injury. Shawn Michaels then
formed the famous stable known as D-Generation X. In November 1997, Shawn Michaels was involved in the infamous Montreal Screw
Job. At Wrestlemania XIV Shawn Michaels lost to 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin in a match for the WWE Championship. 'Iron'
Mike Tyson was the referee. Shawn Michaels then had to retire until 2002 due to a lowerback injury. At Survivor Series 2002
Shawn Michaels won an Elimination Chamber Match to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. In 2003 Shawn Michaels
defeated Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania XIX. At Wrestlemania XX Shawn Michaels competed in a World Heavyweight Championship
Match against Triple H and Chris Benoit. At Wrestlemania 21 Shawn Michaels lost to Kurt Angle in a phenomenal match by tapping
out to the Ankle Lock. |
